1. COMPETITION
The Competition consists of a prize draw on the Rockfield Media / The Web Works website where the entrant has to submit their name and contact email address.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Participating in the competition is free and open to everyone who is 18 years or older and be domiciled within the UK.
3. SUBMISSION
Participants have to submit their contact details via the specific online entry form ahead of the competition deadline of 30th April 2016.
4. SELECTION PROCESS
At the end of the competition-period Rockfield Media will select a winner. The winner will be announced via the Rockfield Media Facebook Page on Friday 6th May 2016. Employees of Rockfield Media Limited, their family members and anyone professionally associated with this competition are not eligible to be selected as a winner.
5. PRIZE
The prize is one functional and published HTML5 based website consisting of upto 20 pages. A specific Domian Name and set for a basic level of Search Engine Optimisation. This is for a period of 12 months. Thereafter the winner can choose to pay an annual hosting fee of £150. All entrants shall win a £150 voucher redemmable against a website build at Rockfield Media Limited / The Web Works.
All decisions are final without recourse to legal process. If a Winner does not respond within 7 days after a notification via a Facebook Post, another Winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries. The prize is awarded is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit. No cash alternative can be made. Rockfield Media Limited reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal value.
6. PRIVACY STATEMENT
Within the scope of this competition, personal data of users and participants gathered and processed in accordance with the applicable data protection laws and regulation. Users and participants are aware that the information submitted by them including submissions and comments, could contain personal data. This personal data can relate to users or participants, but also to individuals that are included in a submission or in comments through images, video or text (together: “Data Subjects”). This data will be treated with care and confidentiality by Rockfield Media Limited and will only be gathered and processed for the competition or the promotion of the competition.
7. LIABILITY
Participating in the competition implies knowledge and acceptance of the characteristics and limitations of internet, inter alia technical performance, the transfer of information and data, the risk and effect of interruptions and more in general the risks that are inherent to communication through internet, such as limited data protection, malware and viruses.
The statutory liability of Rockfield Media for damages arising out of the participation in the Competition in general or the use of The Web Works website in specific shall be limited to the amount of damages typically foreseeable at the time of agreeing to these Terms & Conditions in respect of damages caused by a slightly negligent breach of a material contractual obligation (i.e. a contractual duty the fulfilment of which enables the proper performance of the competition, the breach of which endangers the purpose of these Terms & Conditions and on the fulfilment of which participants in the competition regularly rely). Rockfield Media Limited shall not be liable for damages caused by a slightly negligent breach of a non-material contractual obligation. The aforesaid limitations of liability shall, however, not apply to liability for assuming a specific guarantee or liability for damages caused by wilful or grossly negligent misconduct, or any kind of wilfully or negligently caused injuries to life, body or health.
8. TERMINATION
Rockfield Media Limited reserves the right to abort the competition at any given moment and to shorten, modify, suspend or cancel the competition at its own discretion without resulting in liability or any claim of damages.
Rockfield Media reserves the right to disqualify any participant or user that Rockfield Media reasonably believes (i) to have tampered with the operation of the competition and/or (ii) to be acting in violation of these Terms & Conditions.
